Grodan Vital rockwool slabs are made for drip feeding systems, either re-circulating or run to waste. They are completely wrapped in plastic and used in a similar manner to that of a ‘Grow Bag’. Talent is for low volume high frequency feeding cycles (little and often) as opposed to the Expert, which are used for high volume low frequency feeding. Expert slabs are available to order. Horticultural grade rockwool is designed specifically for plant production. It differs from insulation and building grade rockwool and glasswool. Its made with varying proportions of both wettable and non-wettable rockwool with the fibres laid in different directions according to its use.
