For spare/replacement ballast’s, we supply the Compact Power Pack range. These units have an encapsulated choke potted in resin in an injection-moulded enclosure, which ensures silent running. 250w and 400w have a thermal cut-out incorporated to protect against lamp rectification and short circuits. The smart igniter is also timed to protect against lamp failure. All Power Packs can be wall mounted. Encapsulated power packs use the entire enclosure to cool themselves giving a cooler component temperature, longer component life and better electrical characteristics. Far better than conventional air-vented boxed ballasts.
