First set your timer the current time by rotating the face clockwise until the hands on the clock show the correct time. Each segment on the outer edge of the Grasslin timer represents 15 minutes. Each segment pushed out will trigger the system and send power to the minute timer on the right. After the feed finishes, the pots will empty back to the control unit where the nutrient solution will be pumped back to the tank where it is mixed with fresh nutrient. This motion also oxygenates the nutrient solution. 15 minute segments are set round the outer edge of the timer. Push a single segment out even if you want to send power for more than fifteen minutes. The switch set to the right of the segmental timer has 3 positions. The top position is constantly on, the middle position is timer operation and the bottom position is off.
